4Noggins Button Bay

Button Bay is, in 4noggins' own description, a "very American English" blend: Turkish leaf, Perique, and Latakia are added on top of an American body of Burley and Virginia. It takes its name from Vermont's Button Bay area. The composition aims to hold together the smoky framework of English blends and the nutty base of American ones. Burley contributes nuttiness, Virginia sweetness, Perique a spicy, plummy tang, and Latakia adds smoke; the maker describes this balance as its sweet, spicy, and smoky trio. No additives are reported. Being ribbon cut, it packs easily and needs few relights.
