Alsbo Cherry (Ruby)

Alsbo Cherry is a cherry-flavored Danish blend later sold under the name Ruby. It's built from Virginia and Burley leaf combined with a light Cavendish base; the top layer leans toward cherry. The cherry note has a fresh, tangy character rather than a syrupy candy one, so the smoke proceeds without weighing heavy. Strength and flavor intensity are low.
