Argento Latakia is the classic English blend in the Argento line, produced in Argentina. It contains golden Virginias, a small amount of Burley, and a generous amount of Latakia. It carries no added flavoring; it's sold in 50-gram pouches and is referred to as number six in the line. Keeping the Latakia ratio high pulls the blend's character toward a smoky, woody direction; the Virginias provide background sweetness, while the Burley supplies body.
