Diplomat is one of the shop blends sold under its own name by Barclay Rex, the family business operating in New York since 1910. It's built from Virginia and Burley leaf paired with toasted Cavendish; this structure gives the blend a lightly sweet taste and a cool-burning character. Since the sweetness from toasting isn't dominant, the tobacco leaf's own taste is also felt. Nicotine load is below medium.
