Blend
Barling Tradition
Tradition is the full-bodied English mixture in the London-origin Barling brand's 1812 tobacco line; it's produced in Germany by Planta. Per the tin description, the blend uses Cyprus and Syrian Latakia together, spiced with strong Kentucky, and rounded out with a broad-cut Virginia. With its high Latakia share, the smoke is heavy, evoking mahogany and exotic wood; some accounts note a tangy edge close to tar. The Kentucky leaf pulls both nicotine load and body upward.
