Benson & Hedges Special (Mellow) Virginia

Sold for a long time as Mellow Virginia before later taking the name Special Virginia, this blend contains air-cured Burley and Kentucky alongside Virginia leaf. It's presented ready rubbed, meaning it needs no further rubbing out before packing. A light topping evoking honey, citrus, and vanilla is applied over it, bringing out Virginia's natural sweetness while softening any sharpness. It's an everyday blend widely found in 50-gram pouches on the UK market. The Burley and Kentucky component gives the blend a more pronounced fullness than a purely Virginia-based tobacco.
