Black Cat Cigar Company Ultimate Black

Ultimate Black is an aromatic blend based on fire-cured black Cavendish, sold under its own name by the Pennsylvania-based Black Cat Cigar Company. Per the maker's description it's a mild tobacco with pronounced sweetness that burns slow and cool; the leaf is dark-colored, finely cut, and high in moisture. It appears in the company's catalog in bulk, in 2-ounce, 8-ounce, and pound packaging. On the flavor side, the Cavendish's own caramelized sweetness stands out, and the vanilla topping applied over it adds a mellow fullness to the smoke. Because of its moisture, airing it out before smoking makes it easier to light.
