Borkum Riff Mixture Classic

Borkum Riff Mixture Classic is a ribbon-cut aromatic made of roughly seventy percent Virginia and thirty percent black Cavendish; the Virginias are of Brazilian and African origin, while the Cavendish comes from Argentina, Africa, and India. Its topping leans toward plum and chocolate, though not heavily; in the smoke, the plum sweetness stays more pronounced than the chocolate. The leaf has a matte look and, thanks to its low moisture, can be packed straight from the pouch. Borkum Riff launched in Sweden in 1962, taking its name from a lighthouse in the North Sea; the blends, originally produced for Swedish Match, are now prepared in Denmark under Scandinavian Tobacco Group. It starts light and edges toward medium body by mid-smoke; tongue bite and gurgling are reportedly not pronounced.
