Borkum Riff Cherry Cavendish is a ribbon-cut aromatic where black Cavendish and Virginia meet in equal weight, topped with sweet cherry flavoring. The topping is apparent from the first opening and stays up front throughout the smoke; the leaf base itself stays light and sugary, keeping nicotine low. Borkum Riff launched in Sweden in 1962, taking its name from a lighthouse in the North Sea; the blends, originally produced for Swedish Match, are now prepared in Denmark under Scandinavian Tobacco Group. It's one of the brand's most widely available versions and remains in production.
