Boswell Pipes & Tobacco Majestic 586

Majestic 586 is one of the blends the Boswell workshop in Pennsylvania blends in-house. A toasted cavendish core is joined by some burley and wide-cut Virginia leaf; Virginia's golden yellow is clearly visible among the dark leaves. Per the manufacturer's description, the flavor softens as the bowl progresses, yet stays full without losing its character to the end, and holds up through relights. Its sweetness comes more from the cavendish processing than from casing, making it a measured aromatic. Nicotine load is low, flavor body medium. Since Boswell tobaccos are distributed mainly through the manufacturer's own shops, freshness and moisture level can vary by batch.
