Compton's of Galashiels York Full Mixture

Compton's of Galashiels York Full Mixture is one of the brand's fullest-bodied members among its old-style English mixtures. In keeping with the brand series' general structure, multiple Virginia types, unflavored cavendish, Latakia, and Oriental leaves are used; the result is a body with more intense sweetness and higher nicotine than its modern counterparts. On the flavor channel, Latakia-derived smokiness runs together with Virginia sweetness, and the Orientals add a spicy layer on top. The brand is a small series produced in limited numbers; its current production status could not be clearly established from available records.
