Cornell & Diehl Adagio

Adagio is a Latakia mixture Cornell & Diehl builds around cube-cut burley. Virginia, perique, and Oriental leaves are added alongside the burley; the maker describes the blend as a slow-burning, full-bodied smoke. The leaf is ribbon cut, which makes packing and lighting easy. Cube-cut burley gives the blend an earthy, nutty base while Latakia carries the smoke and Oriental the spice layer; perique adds a small measure of fruity sharpness. There is no added flavoring. As its name suggests, it is built to be smoked without hurry.
