D & R Tobacco Picayune
Picayune is a full-bodied blend from Daughters & Ryan combining air-cured Burley leaf with flue-cured golden Virginia, topped with Perique and Turkish leaf. It's known for its fine cut and high nicotine level. On the palate, Perique's pepper-and-plum spice and the tangy, resinous tone of Samsun-type Oriental sit on top of Burley's earthy base; this spice spreads across a dry-hay-like background.
