D & R Tobacco Vengeur Platinum Blend

Vengeur Platinum Blend is the version of Daughters & Ryan's Vengeur line with a higher proportion of light-colored (gold leaf) Virginia. Per the maker's own marketing, the blend uses no chemical flavoring; its character comes entirely from leaf selection. Its composition is flue-cured golden Virginia, Burley, and Oriental leaf, ribbon cut. On the smoke, a grassy, sharp, lemony Virginia base sits underneath nutty, earthy Burley with a light cocoa lean, and Oriental adds spice and a light smokiness in the background. Body is medium, flavor intensity high. It reads sweeter than the Regular version in the same line.
