Dan Tobacco Swatte Deern

Swatte Deern is a Hamburg pipe tobacco named after a Low German phrase meaning "dark girl." The maker describes the blend as dark and soft, full-bodied and sweet: flavored black cavendish forms the body, while golden Virginia opens and lightens the mixture. Black cavendish's natural sweetness, together with the applied topping, gives a soft, cool smoke; it stays light in nicotine. It appears alongside the similarly named Lütte Deern in the maker's north-German-themed line. Distributed in 50- and 250-gram packages.
