E. a. Carey 50Th Anniversary

E. A. Carey is an American-origin house brand that has sold pipes and pipe tobacco since 1948; 50th Anniversary is a custom aromatic blend prepared for the firm's fiftieth year. Per the maker's page, the blend is built from golden African virginias, imported burley and black cavendish leaf, and produced in Denmark. So while the origin brand is American, the tobacco itself is processed and delivered Danish-style. In character it sits close to the brand's long-selling Classic Black Aromatic line: cavendish sweetness stands out, burley holds the body, and virginia gives a light sugar behind it. It's noted as light in nicotine.
