Fribourg & Treyer Vanners Mixture

Vanners Mixture is one of the mild Virginia blends in the line produced under the name of Fribourg & Treyer, the London tobacconist dating to 1720. Some black cavendish is added to red and golden Virginia leaves for body, and the blend is prepared as a ribbon cut. Red Virginia brings a bread-like, dark sweetness, while golden Virginia adds a brighter, grassier top tone; cavendish is the soft texture binding the two together.
