Gatlin Burlier-Chimney Smoke

Chimney Smoke is one of the house blends of the Gatlinburlier tobacconist in Gatlinburg. Roasted black Cavendish leaf is flavoured with vanilla and a small amount of maple syrup. The cut is kept relatively large so it burns cool, and the moisture is set low enough that it won't go out. The tobacco's own taste is light; what stands out is the topping, which, while noticeable, is kept measured enough not to leave weight on the palate. It is a shop blend prepared to reduce the excessive moisture and gurgling issue often seen in aromatic blends.
