Gawith, Hoggarth & Co. Curly Cut De Luxe Sliced

Curly Cut De Luxe is one of the firm's hand-rolled rope tobaccos. Leaves are hand-rolled as in twist-making, pressed, and sliced to give coin-shaped cuts. In the blend, air-cured dark leaf takes up more room than the flavored light-colored leaf. When lit, the dark leaf's nutty, earthy side leads; the light leaf adds a herbal, bright sweetness, and the two trade places through the bowl. Since the slices are tight, they can be packed folded without rubbing out, and burn slowly.
