Gawith, Hoggarth & Co. Gawith Red

Gawith Red is a blend built mostly from air-cured leaf, developed as an option to replace Amphora Red in the English market. Its composition includes Burley, Kentucky, Oriental, and Virginia; Kentucky provides body and earthy depth, while Oriental carries a spicy edge. Records indicate a very light floral essence is applied on top; because of this, the blend isn't quite unflavored, but stays fairly restrained compared to the heavy sauces of Lakeland style.
