Grasmere Flake is a Lakeland flake where Kendal-style floral essences are used pronouncedly. The essence line rests on rose and geranium; because of this it's considered a relative of the same house's Kendal Flake, though records indicate it's fuller in both taste and nicotine. The slices are moist and dark, smoked after airing. Beneath the floral essence sits the earthy fullness of dark fired leaves; nicotine becomes noticeable as the smoke progresses.
