Gawith, Hoggarth & Co. Kendal Dark

Kendal Dark is an unflavored blend combining Malawi-origin fire-cured leaf with India-origin air-cured Virginia in a fine shag cut. The very fine cut makes the tobacco easy to light; on the other hand, loose packing is common to prevent it from burning too fast. The taste is earthy, smoky, and dry, carrying no sugar or essence topping. Nicotine, contrary to the mild impression given by the fine cut, is high.
