Gawith, Hoggarth & Co. Kendal Gold-Blueberry

Kendal Gold is one of the shag-cut main bodies produced at Gawith, Hoggarth & Co.'s Kendal workshop in Cumbria. Its base is a fine golden-hued cut of flame-cured bright Virginia leaf; the producer states it uses no other tobacco type in this series, only cleanly cut Virginia. The Kendal Gold body is offered with numerous different flavorings, and Kendal Gold-Blueberry is this family's blueberry-flavored member. The blueberry flavoring is added to Kendal Gold's fine Virginia cut; the jar aroma is pronounced, and on the smoke the fruit sweetness combines with the Virginia's own sugar. The shag cut lights fast and needs slow smoking.
