Gawith, Hoggarth & Co. Mellow Mahogany Ready Rubbed

Mellow Mahogany is a plain Virginia-based broken flake (ready rubbed) tobacco; after pressing, the slices are crumbled ready for sale, so no additional rubbing out is needed before packing. The leaf's natural sweetness is preserved, and a measured Lakeland-style topping sitting on the woody, floral side is applied on top; sources also describe this flavor as giving a creamy almond association. The smoke runs cool and mild; there is a topping, but it doesn't mask the plain Virginia character.
