Gawith, Hoggarth & Co. No. 1 CC Blending

No. 1 CC is the plain-Virginia entry in Gawith, Hoggarth & Co.'s coarse-cut single-leaf series. No sauce or topping is applied; the taste comes entirely from the flue-cured leaf itself: bready sweetness, dry hay, and a light citrus sharpness. It's used to establish a sweet, neutral base in a mixture. Smoked on its own, it gives light-to-medium nicotine and a plain Virginia taste.
