Gawith, Hoggarth & Co. Perique Flake #27

Perique Flake is a flake tobacco belonging to the same product family also known under the name Louisiana Flake, made by adding Perique to a Virginia base and pressing it. It's counted among the few Perique-containing blends in the brand's catalog. Since the Perique share is kept measured, the dark fruit sweetness leaning toward plum and fig stands out, with the peppery sharpness staying in the background. The slices are packed rubbed out or folded and burn slowly.
