No. 3 in the Golden Blend's series is an aromatic long sold under the name Amaretto before the product names were later switched to numbers. The blend is a Pöschl production based in Bavaria. Its composition is made up of hand-selected Burley leaf and sweet Virginia; the cut is ribbon and the moisture level is typical for aromatics. The flavor line is set by the Italian amaretto topping that gives the blend its name: a pronounced sweetness and almond association lead in both aroma and smoke. Burley holds the blend with a dry, nutty base while Virginia adds a sugary softness. Nicotine is low and the smoke is light.
