GQ Tobaccos Nottingham Lace : Rouge

Rouge, the red member of the Nottingham Lace series, is prepared with a spirit-based top note over a red Virginia and Cavendish base. Kentucky and Perique take on the role of depth in the blend; records indicate the Perique ratio runs above fifteen percent, making the dark-fruit-and-pepper side pronounced. The top note is a traditional-style topping — not dominant enough to place the blend in the classic aromatic category, and far from Lakeland-style floral toppings. It is an easy-smoking blend with an even burn. Despite the high Perique ratio, its strength doesn't run to excess.
