The mixture uses Burley leaf from Tennessee and Kentucky, ranging from pale cream to dark mahogany, joined by a measure of aged red Virginia. The blend is pressed into a cake and offered pre-sliced. It carries a top-dressing oriented toward cocoa, rum, and a touch of anise, which rounds out the tobacco's nutty, bready base without masking it. The smoke is full-bodied and the taste mildly sweet.
