Hearth & Home Louisiana Red

Louisiana Red is a Virginia-Perique blend where two separate red Virginia leaves are combined with a generous amount of Acadian Perique. It is a medium-brown ribbon cut, and the tin releases a sweet aroma reminiscent of dried fruit. The Virginias give a round, dark sweetness with a light tart-fruit tone, while Perique adds plum and black-pepper seasoning. The smoke is cool and full; the balance between sweetness and spice is the blend's defining trait. It is counted among the brand's fully original, non-imitation blends.
