Marble Kake is an unflavored Virginia blend where bright, red Virginia leaf is pressed tightly into a cake. The cake is prepared either by hand-breaking or by slicing and crumbling; the preparation method also carries through to the taste — finely rubbed out it smokes faster and flatter, while smoked as a thick slice it gives a slower, more intense smoke.
