Hearth & Home Saratoga Summer

Saratoga Summer is a bulk-sold aromatic mixture prepared by blender Russ Ouellette under the Hearth & Home umbrella. It takes its name from the Saratoga region of New York state, part of the naming tradition referencing the brand's home region. Its distinguishing feature is that the rum flavoring comes to the fore: the rum note sitting atop the leaf base defines the blend's identity. The base is made up of a combination of Virginia, Burley, and black Cavendish leaves; being ribbon cut, it's easy to fill and light. Records indicate Hearth & Home's production ended in the early 2020s, so the blend is no longer on the market today.
