J. F. Germain & Son Germain's Special Latakia Flake

Special Latakia Flake is J. F. Germain & Son's product presenting its classic English blend in pressed form. It contains Latakia, Oriental leaves, and Virginia; because the mixture is pressed and sliced, the flavors meld together over time, giving a denser, more cohesive smoke than ribbon-cut versions. The Latakia smokiness is pronounced, but the Oriental's dry, slightly sour spiciness and the Virginia's sweetness keep it in balance. Smoking pace can be adjusted by how much the flake is rubbed out.
