The 2023 release of Samsun and Delilah is, per the maker's description, a blend built on Virginia, Oriental, and Cavendish leaf. The "Samsun" in the name refers to the Turkish-origin Oriental tobacco variety, and much of the blend's dry, herbal, lightly spiced identity comes from this leaf. The Virginia base supplies a breadlike, faintly fruity sweetness, while the black Cavendish adds a dark, cocoa-leaning, soft body.
