Lane Limited Buttered Rum

Buttered Rum is one of Lane Limited's bulk, coarse-cut aromatics. Its base is cut cavendish and burley leaf; some recipes note Virginia is also added. The applied casing is built around buttered rum and vanilla; the smoke starts with a sweet, buttery entry, with rum and a light almond side coming forward past the middle of the bowl. It's a light-to-medium-nicotine, open and single-note blend. Lane is among the most widespread manufacturers of bulk aromatic tobacco in the US market and has been under the Scandinavian Tobacco Group since 2011.
