Lane Limited Captain Black Original (Regular)

Captain Black Original is the brand's core blend, in production since 1956. Steam-processed black cavendish, soft burley and golden Virginia leaves are combined to build depth; the cut is ribbon. Known for its white packaging, it's one of the few pipe tobaccos also widely sold at non-tobacconist outlets in the US. The taste is lightly sweet with a vanilla direction on top; nicotine is low, the smoke is cool. It offers no complex development, proceeding along the same line throughout the bowl.
