Mac Baren Dark Twist Loose Cut

Dark Twist is one of Mac Baren's products that continues the brand's old-fashioned handcraft. Selected Virginia leaves and the brand's signature cavendish are wrapped as a filling inside whole Virginia leaves; the resulting twist is cut into rounds and packed by hand. The loose cut presentation is this same twisted tobacco prepared as a loose cut rather than rounds, which makes packing easier. The density from the rope structure carries through to the taste: the dark, tangy sweetness of the Virginia and the depth of the cavendish stand out, with reportedly a light liqueur-like accent on top. Nicotine sits in the medium range and it burns slowly.
