Mac Baren Three Nuns Green

Three Nuns Green is one of the branches of the Three Nuns name, dating back to the 19th century, continued by Mac Baren. It's prepared per the curly-cut tradition: the interior holds Virginia, dark-fire-cured Kentucky, and Perique, with hand-selected Virginia leaves used as the outer wrap; the rope is sliced and presented as spiral-patterned coins. In taste, Virginia's natural sweetness and herbal, citrusy tang form the base; Kentucky adds a smoky, dry woodiness, while the Perique adds depth with plum and spice tones.
