McClelland 2016 Holiday Spirit

2016 Holiday Spirit is among the later releases in the limited-edition aromatic series McClelland put out each year for the holidays starting in 2008. The recipe was kept consistent through the series: a base of nutty Burley, tangy Virginia, and black Cavendish sweetened with dark rum, walnut, and cocoa; the tobacco is presented as loose ribbon cut. Chocolate and praline stand out in the tin note, the rum's sweetness carries through the smoke, and nicotine stays low. Among the series' final releases; the brand stopped production in 2018.
