McClelland A.M. Pipe

A.M. Pipe is one of the light English mixtures McClelland sold in bulk. Its name and character connect to the tradition of classic light Latakia blends designed for a morning smoke; records indicate it was offered as a counterpart to Dunhill's Early Morning Pipe. Its contents hold a Virginia body, a measured amount of Latakia, and Oriental tobacco. Since the Latakia proportion is kept low, the smoky side doesn't overwhelm the Virginia's sweetness; the ribbon cut allows easy packing and even burning. Discontinued when McClelland closed.
