McClelland Brindle Flake (Ashton Revival)

Brindle Flake is among the blends McClelland produced for Ashton, offered within the brand's Ashton Revival series. It consists of unflavored Virginia leaf; leaves dried by the flue-cure method are pressed and matured as cake, then presented as broken flake. Packing and lighting are easy. Rather than a complex flavor sequence, it rests on Virginia's natural sweetness and plain tobacco taste; nicotine level is measured.
