McClelland Captain Cool

Captain Cool is a light flavored blend in McClelland's Premium Aromatics line. The maker's description calls it a cool-smoking tobacco that doesn't bite the tongue; it carries a pinch of vanilla with a mint touch as flavoring. The cut is ribbon and moisture is kept measured relative to typical aromatics. In the smoke, the flavoring's cooling line stands out more than the tobacco's own taste; nicotine dose is low and body is light. The mint-vanilla combination sets the blend apart from McClelland's other aromatics. Discontinued when McClelland stopped production in 2018.
