McClelland Frog Morton

Frog Morton is a Latakia-forward, ribbon-cut English blend McClelland released within its Craftsbury series. Its composition holds a large share of Cyprian Latakia balanced by Virginia leaf; records indicate the Latakia share runs to roughly two-thirds of the blend. In the smoke, soot, incense, and faint cocoa-coffee associations are joined by a citrusy sweetness from the Virginia. Being below medium in nicotine and burning cool and dry, it's often cited as an entry blend into the world of Latakia. Later members of the series were derived by adding Perique, Basma, or barrel shavings on top of this main body. Production ended when the brand closed in 2018.
