McClelland Latakia Flake

Latakia Flake, released within the Blakeney's Best series, is a full-bodied English blend in which generous Cyprian Latakia is combined with Yaka Oriental from Greece's Xanthi region, toasted, then matured pressed into cakes. The flake sliced from the cake gives a slow, cool burn; soot and spice notes stay upfront through the smoke. Being flake, it needs to be rubbed out or folded before packing. The blend was produced from 2005 and withdrawn from the market when McClelland closed in 2018.
