McClelland No. 2045 Oriental Mixture

No. 2045 Oriental Mixture appears in McClelland's bulk catalog as the reduced-Latakia counterpart to the No. 2040 Cyprian mixture. Per the maker's description, within a mild, sweet structure, light-colored Orientals and Carolina leaf stand out, with Latakia used only in a supporting tone. This setup makes the blend more an Oriental-forward mixture than an English one. In the smoke, the Oriental's tangy, herbal, and spicy tones are pronounced; the Latakia's smoke draws a frame in the background. Body is medium and nicotine is moderate. Production ended when McClelland ceased operations in 2018.
