McClelland No. 25

No. 25 is one of the unflavored Virginia blends in McClelland's "Matured Virginias" series. Turkish-language sources indicate it comes in the tin as a very fine cut with high moisture, carrying the brand's distinctive aroma. The fine cut dries quickly when aired, packs easily, and lights right away. Records position No. 25 within the series as a milder, slightly sweeter take on No. 27. In the first puffs it gives a surface-level taste owing to the fine cut; the blend's own character emerges past the first third of the bowl, bringing forward the sweet tobacco taste typical of matured Virginia. Body is light to medium and nicotine dose is low.
