No. 403 Darkest Chocolate is one of McClelland's dark-toned aromatics sold in bulk. Its base is lightly sweetened black Cavendish leaf; the main flavoring applied over it is dark chocolate. Thanks to the high-sugar Cavendish, it burns slow with a cool smoke; nicotine load stays low. McClelland's 400-series is a line presenting the same Cavendish base with different flavorings; No. 401 Darkest Caramel belongs to the same series. McClelland Tobacco Company closed in 2018, so the blend is no longer produced.
