No. 705 Walnut Liqueur was a Virginia blend in McClelland's light aromatic bulk line. Per the maker's description, the blend's backbone is built from lemon- and orange-toned Carolina Virginia leaves along with differently processed Virginia types, joined by a small amount of high-quality Brazilian leaf. The flavoring applied over it, evoking walnut and brandy, is a non-masking layer that sits atop the tobacco's Virginia sweetness rather than covering it. It's described as a low-nicotine, low-bite record smokable all day. Since McClelland Tobacco Company halted production entirely in 2018, the blend is no longer produced; only old stock circulates on the market.
