McClelland Yenice Agonya

Yenice Agonya belongs to McClelland's Grand Orientals series, which spotlights individual Oriental varieties. It takes its name from the Agonya variety grown in the Marmara region, considered a continuation of the Xanthi seed stock; in this blend, the Turkish tobacco is joined by matured Virginia, with no Latakia. The whole series was discontinued when the company closed in 2018. The Oriental and Virginia play off each other in a sweet-tart balance; the body is lightly spiced, with floral and herbal notes standing out. The smoke is mild, though the nicotine load isn't negligible.
