McClelland Yenice Agonya (Grand Orientals)

Yenice Agonya is one of the Grand Orientals series entries where McClelland spotlights a single-region tobacco. The blend's backbone is Oriental leaf grown in the Yenice district of Çanakkale, with Virginia in a supporting role; the cut is ribbon. On opening the tin, the brand's characteristic tangy aroma is noticeable; the tobacco's moisture is smokable straight away, and a brief airing settles the sweet-tart side. The smoke is extremely mild and cool, moving between Yenice's unobtrusive spiciness and a sweet-tart flavor. It lights easily and resists overheating, though bowls burn down quickly. The ash is soft and the chamber cleans up easily. It shares the same leaf with Yenidje Supreme from the same series, but stays lighter than that blend.
